Wedding Details


Weddings, no matter how large or small, involve many details to be looked after. To make your planning easier, we have compiled this list of items you may not have had the chance to consider.  Other questions are answered in the FAQ section. Of course, your dedicated Wedding Specialist is on hand to answer any other questions or concerns you may have.


  • Linen/Candles - Floor length linens are available on a complimentary basis, in either white or ivory, with accompanying white or ivory napkins. We will also provide votive candles to enhance your Wedding Reception or Dinner.
  • Dance Floor and Risers- These are fully mobile and adaptable to your specifications.
  • Rooms - Hyatt Regency San Francisco can create a tastefully-designed San Francisco wedding reception or ceremony site. Choose from any number of venues to find the one to suit your style.
  • Order of Events - From traditional to your own unique vision, allow your Wedding Specialist to assist you in deciding the flow of your day.
  • Audio-Visual equipment - Our on-site audio-visual experts can help you execute your ideas, from a slide show to special customized lighting to enhance the ambiance.
  • Parking  Valet parking is available at the hotel. Self-parking is available adjacent to the Hotel.  The Hotel is located on the San Francisco Waterfront with immediate access to the California Street Cable Car, BART, Muni, and ferries from Oakland, Sausalito and Tiburon. 
  • Gold Passport - Hyatt Gold Passport points are awarded for all food and beverage purchased for your wedding at Hyatt Regency San Francisco. Two points are awarded for each dollar spent for all events starting after 5:00p.m. Points can be used toward future overnight accommodations.


  • Pricing- A Food and Beverage minimum is applied to all events at Hyatt Regency San Francisco. A 30% non-refundable deposit will be required with the signed contract to hold your event space on a definite basis. Your event is considered tentative until a signed contract of agreement and deposit are received. Your final balance is due seven business days prior to your wedding. Our menus and pricing are subject to change without notice until a final contract is signed. All Food and Beverage is subject to a Service Charge and Sales Tax.
  • Guarantee- A final number of guests is required three business days prior to your event. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The hotel will prepare meals for 5% over the guaranteed count. Final charges are based on your guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is greater.
  • Hyatt Honeymoons!  Celebrate your wedding day at Hyatt and enjoy free nights on your honeymoon.  Please ask your Wedding Specialist for more information.
